Watch More of Our Videos on YouTube Many people don’t realize that the average life of an underground oil tank is approximately 15 years. Underground oil tanks are made of steel that rust and corrode over time. If your home is over 15 years old and still has its original oil tank, you need to have it removed.
You’re In Trusted Hands With The Entech Group, Inc, the leader in environmental services in NJ. Through our strong relationships with the NJDEP and insurance carriers, we’ve assisted our clients in receiving over $5,000,000 in funding from the NJ Grant Program and insurance coverage since 2006, and we have never been denied grant approval.
The Entech Group received a letter May 3rd, 2011 from the NJEDA / NJDEP concerning the UST Grant Program which was distributed state-wide to companies certified to perform oil tank removals in NJ. The subject of their letter was “The Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Remediation, Upgrade and Closure Fund (UST Fund)”. This program was greatly beneficial to homeowners looking for underground oil tanks removal in NJ because you were able to get tank removal services at little to no cost. The letter explains that there are insufficient funds for the program, and as a result there is a hold and possible cancellation of the grant funding programs. Effective May 3, 2011, new UST Fund applications for the non-leaking tank program will not be processed, however, applications for the leaking tank program will be date stamped and held until if and when sufficient funds become available. Despite the pausing of the UST Grant Program, The Entech Group, your leader for environmental services in NJ, is still receiving and processing new requests for oil tank removals from New Jersey homeowners! We’re happy to say the temporary discontinuation of the grant program in NJ has not stopped environmentally responsible homeowners and businesses from continuing to request more information about our oil tank removal services.
