LSRPs Acquire More Environmental Responsibility in NJ

Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP)

Environmental rules and regulations that were introduced in 2009 are finally being implemented at the close of 2012.  What this means for NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP) is an increase in responsibility with regards to environmental services and projects.

LSRPs must now know the status of environmental investigations and cleanups as the responsibility for responding to public inquiries will be their responsibility.

Additionally, all public notification signs, letters, fact sheets and updates must now include contact information for the person responsible for conducting the remediation and the LSRP of record for the site. The NJDEP Office of Community Relations will no longer be the point of contact.

With the implementation of new state regulations comes mounting pressure on the shoulders of LSRPs.  To help offset some of that pressure and to ensure environmental projects are handled with precise accuracy and compliance, The Entech Group, Inc has created an environmental team of experts to provide support to our partner LSRPs.

New Environmental Laws Require LSRP Services For Commercial Real Estate Projects in NJ

Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)

When property redevelopment or sites require environmental remediation the use of an LSRP is required in NJ.

The Site Remediation Reform Act Compliance (SRRA) imposes strict deadlines and time frames for all environmental projects in the state.  To meet these deadlines in a timely and compliant manner, the SRRA also requires the use of an LSRP to oversee all remediation and environmental projects.

The Entech Group Inc., works with lawyers, real estate agents, property developers and home owners to ensure compliance on all property redevelopment projects.  Their own Vice President, Thomas A. Furey, PE is an LSRP and works with their NJ clients to bring environmental projects to a swift closure.  With over twenty-five years of environmental experience, Entech is committed to providing their clients with the highest level of service and can now expedite their processes with the assistance of Mr. Furey and his team.

With LSRPs overseeing and finalizing environmental projects, property owners experience a reduction in the amount of time, effort and expense to close an environmental project.
